I stepped on the ice for the first time in three years the other day and I must say it felt great! I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did but it was fab to be back out there. And, not being too big headed about it, I was much better than I thought I was going to be! I landed three flips (if you are a skater and haven't stepped on the ice for a long time that's quite impressive!) so I was well chuffed. Hmmm could this mean that I'm back on the ice for good........Friday, 18 September 2009

Reading Festival 2009!

I think it can be safely said that this year at Reading I had the time of my life!! I haven't danced/laughed/danced/moshed/danced that much in ages! Fall Out Boy were incredible (as the photo's above show!) and watching Mad Caddies for the first time in years pretty much made my life! Paige and I reverted back to being 16 years old and skanked away!! More highlights included dancing to Power Ballads in/outside the Relentless tent. I wonder why I've lost my voice and am now full of cold. It's a puzzler...........Saturday, 25 July 2009
Home Again, Home Again, Jiggity Jog
I moved from my flat in London today back to my home town to live with the folks for a bit. It's lovely being home and I'd forgotten how green and peaceful this place was! Very odd seeing my whole life in a transit van but we managed to fit it all in.....just about! I don't recommend moving your life in bin bags from a second floor flat with no lift. It really is no fun. Burnt a good few hundred calories though so not all bad......

Half a Yard of Pizza!
Went to a lush restaurant in Shoreditch yesterday for lunch called Yard. They serve pizza and you can get a 1/4, 1/2 or a whole yard!! We opted for 1/2 a yard between the two of us so this one is half goats cheese and half 'lots of meat'! It was delicious and I'd recommend it to all!!

Latitude Festival 2009

Got back from Latitude Festival yesterday and had a great weekend. The weather was horrendous which was a shame but didn't stop us from having a jolly good time! Yet again we didn't see many bands but that's ok because the festival is more of an experience than a music must see. We had fun frolicking in the woods and dancing in the Guilty Pleasures tent til 3am! Sunday was pretty much a write off due to the rain and Helz getting diagnosed with swine flu.........
