Check out the 'very rough' video I put together from my time as Tour Manager for Canadians The Pack A.D. Had such an awesome time and I can't wait to go back out on the road again with them in the future! All music in the video is from the band so if you like what you here visit here......

The Pack A.D. Tour - Round 1-3

I thought I'd update you on the first three days of my time as tour manager for The Pack A.D. They are a Canadian duo from Vancouver and are pretty 'rad' (a word I shall now be using all the time thanks to Maya!). So far we've done two shows in Brighton and one in London and coming up we have another two in London then two in Liverpool. I'm pretty used to driving the transit van now but it did take some getting used to. I feel like a fraud and that people are looking at me oddly as I overtake them in my massive white van....but I did manage to parallel park it TWICE! So not all is lost. The girls have been killing it every night and considering arond 90 percent of the crowd don't know who they are before each show they've been very well received. The merch desk has been flooded with people after each show wanting to know more and buying the album so it's been a great start! I'm so ready for more of the same and look forward to the next London shows - come along if you like! Tues, 18th May @ The Gaff, London or Wed, 19th May @ The Lexington, London. Be there or be rectangular........

Curvy Women are the Way Forward

The cover of today's Times Magazine is of two beautiful, curvaceous women. One being the ever gorgeous Crystal Renn who I've featured on my blog before. They are truly inspirational and it's great to see that, with the help of Gary Dakin at Ford Models, they are breaking the rules of high fashion and prove that skinny is not the only look we want to see from our models. Renn was the first size 14 super model and her career went sky high when she decided to stop starving herself and embrace her natural shape. The pictures above just go to show that being super skinny will not always create a better photo - Renn's curves enhance her beauty and being that thin just didn't suit her. Long live buxom models with wobbly bits. We finally have an array of models that aren't so different for the majority of us and we can really relate too.
