We went to Spring Awakening at the Novello Theatre this week and I knew nothing about the musical before hand other than it was a bit risque in parts. It was a really refreshing production and the cast were humourous and talented - and very brave in parts! They're telling quite a sad story and the rock music style was bizarre for an 18th century tale but the modern twist really worked - mainly thanks to the young actors. It's only in theatres until the end of May so I'd suggest getting tickets quick.........
