Friday came about and we met up with my friend Alissa who I used to work with when she lived over in the UK. She's now living in San Fran again but will be back in the UK in 'the fall'. Her and her friend Tanya showed us the sites of Union Square and we went for an awesome meal at The Burger Bar in Macey's. The restaurant also had little TV screens at the booths so we watched the penalty shoot out of the Uraguay/Ghana game which was cool. We pottered around for a bit before Alissa had to go to work then Paige and I went to see Eclipse! I was so happy that we were going to see it (they only had salted popcorn though which was rubbish, but I survived!) but I will say that I was a bit disappointed. I really enjoyed all the books and did enjoy Eclipse but there wasn't as much action and suspense as the others. Makes me look forward to Breaking Dawn more though to see if they can up their game. The acting was sooooo bad. Kristen Stewart is actually crap and had an awful wig on.....but all that being said I still did enjoy it in a funny kind of way! En route home we then saw a church sign which I though I could make better by blocking out a couple of letters with my head. I think I'd make a pretty good saint.....
