Waking Up in Vegas

After our disasterous journey to get there, Vegas turned out to be awesome! There was never any doubt in my mind though as I love it there. We went for a stroll around some of the hotels when we got there including the Venitian, Treasure Island and the Palazzo. Did a little bit of gambling and as you can see I got a big win from the first slot machine I went on! Last of the big spenders me. The following day we booked tickets for a Playboy comedy night at the Palms....more about that later. So in the day we went to watch the dancing fountains at the Bellagio, ate dinner in Ceasers Palace (check out the amazing restaurant with the white cut outs and goldfish above), strolled around the Mirage and generally just kept popping into different casinos as it was so unbearably hot (there were a few moments when I didn't think Paige was going to make it!!). We then went to walk to the Palms from the strip but we weren't allowed down the road for some reason as it was all cornered off by police. It only turns out that bloody Obama was there doing some presidential business!! However great it was to say that we had breathed in the same air as the President of the United States, we were miffed that we couldn't go the way we wanted to! Anyway, we got there in the end after one mammouth walk and we saw Greg Proops do some stand up (you know him, from who's line is it anyway and some other comedy panel shows). He was quite amusing and we met a great couple who had an aligator farm!! They had 10,000 aligators in their farm and I just couldn't resist taking a picture of the aligator foot that he uses as a mobile phone holder!! Cool huh!?!? Anywho, after that, we gained entry to the Playboy Club which had all the bunnies as blackjack dealers. We then were allowed up to the Moon club which was at the very top of the Palms hotel. It had the most incredible views as you can see and we danced the night away! It was an open roofed club too which took us a couple of hours to realise! There were lots of rude pics in the ladies toilets (I've posted one above so I'm sorry if it offends some of you but there was a worse one I took of a naked woman on the toilet door! She was beautiful but not quite blog-appropriate!). When we got back to Circus Circus where we were staying, we met some lads from Manchester and one was wearing a rather fetching hat as you can see. And yes, Paige did end up wearing it after a frozen margharita!!
